Tamnavulin Speyside Single Malt Scotch Whisky

Full, inviting scents of baked apple, caramel, and nectar are present, mingling with sweet almond paste and a whisper of tart citrus spread. A bright, smooth essence of pear, velvety apricots, tropical fruit, and a touch of brown sugar. It concludes richly, with a smooth, revitalizing character, strongly suggesting a classic Speyside single malt.

I had higher expectations. Some pleasant fruit notes on the nose and palate, but a bitterness in the finish that I disliked. Batch 0308 - it says on the label!

A pleasant Speyside with a touch of sweetness.
