Windows updates running - so close to completion. This spirit ended up being the choice during the extended wait. Nevertheless, pleasant caramel and sugary notes throughout, reminiscent of ripe fruit with a drizzle of vanilla
Nose: Dark chocolate, berries, some stewed orchard fruits. Palate: Soft, thicker body, red berry fruit, subtle spices. Finish: A slight tannic dryness. Spices intensify.
A subtle touch of berry initially, followed by a distinct grape and oaky impact. Overall, a very fruity and well-balanced whisky with delicate wine notes.
Sour and wine-like, with very faint cherry. It leaves a disgusting aftertaste, akin to burnt fish. Sherry cask Tanmnavulin is far superior.
On the nose: grapes, faint cherry, a little spicy, red apples. In the mouth: distinct vanilla, a hint of coconut. Short, mild finish.
Fruity taste in the mouth that transitions to a pleasant, slightly spicy finish. Nice whisky.
