About this bottle

The oldest single malt ever released by the Speyside distillery, Tamdhu 50 Year, was introduced in early 2017 to commemorate their 120th anniversary. This single cask bottling, created in November 1963, spent fifty years aging in a first fill European oak butt that had previously held sherry. A specialized team comprising a glass expert, a crystal maker, and luxury jewelers designed its unique decanter. With a limited production of only 100 bottles, its price was set at $20,000.
