About this bottle
The inaugural release in the brand's Bodega Series, this 1978 vintage single malt launched in June 2018. The series is designed to showcase the impact of sherry cask finishes on single malt. Matured for 40 years, the Talisker first rests in American oak refill casks before being finished in casks that previously held 40 year-old amontillado sherry from Bodega Delgado Zuleta. Global availability is limited to 2000 bottles.
