Sullivans Cove XO originates from Tasmanian Sauvignon Blanc, Gewurztraminer, and Chardonnay wines sourced from the Huon Valley area of Australia. This spirit spent nine years aging in American oak ex-tawny barrels and is bottled without chill filtering.

Tastes like a brandy drinker's brandy, and I like it. But for 280, I would spend my money elsewhere. The packaging is attractive, and I understand it comes from a local winery owned by some of the same people behind O'Sullivan's Cove, using a comparable method.
