Reintroduced in late 2017 with an updated bottle and revised recipe, Stoli Gold is crafted from 100% single-estate Gubernator Dona winter wheat. The water utilized in its production is filtered using shungite, a unique meteoric rock sourced from Russia's Tambov region. Following typical Stoli filtration through Russian birch charcoal and quartz sand, this vodka undergoes an additional filtration process involving coils of gold thread. Its initial availability was in travel retail locations at Heathrow and Dubai airports, with broader distribution planned afterward.

Extremely smooth, pure, and neutral. Of all the vodkas sampled this past year, this was the most neutral. For certain individuals, this will make it an obvious selection. I still believe I might prefer another vodka, like Belvedere or Spirit of York, for my Martinis, but the value for the quality is hard to surpass. Strongly suggested.
The aroma offers a hint of warm grain sweetness but is otherwise entirely neutral. It has a full body and an oily mouthfeel. A distinct toasted grain flavor persists throughout the palate, accompanied by a subtle yet very lasting minerality on the finish, which is exceptionally smooth. It's generally considered an improvement over the initial release, and I concur. It's certainly more suitable for sipping and possesses its own distinct character.
Mediocre. It's acceptable, has some flavor but also a fair amount of sharpness. Significantly inferior to Russian Standard Gold.
The smoothest vodka I've had. This represents incredible value. Highly recommended!
