Still Austin The Musician Single Barrel Cask Strength (AC/DC Pick)

Batch 116 failed to impress. It was overly dominated by alcohol. I've previously enjoyed the standard Still Austin and the regular cask strength versions. This batch, however, had alcohol as the primary taste, with other flavors and the aroma taking a backseat. I remain a fan of the brand, just not this particular release. This expression, despite being 118 proof, concealed its alcohol much more effectively than the one I tried.

A slight burn going down, but it's very pleasant served over ice.
