A respectable aroma of hay, honey, caramel, oak, vanilla, and green apple. This Missouri Bourbon smells like a bourbon, although a young one, which is a relief since I reside in Missouri. Good to see my state producing decent whiskeys. The palate is about what I'd expect, grassy barnyard stubble with light honey and mellow fruit. Kind of thin, which I attribute to its youth. Age statement: 4 years. Specific brands and other whiskeys are good comparisons at better price points. As far as other Missouri Bourbons, it’s not a crowded field, but a specific brand is currently leading.

Vanilla and green apple on the nose. Sweetness, fruity, and oak on first sip. Ice pulls from the vanilla side and finishes with pecan and leather.
