I sampled the specific batch version... Smell- spicy fruity wine Taste- the excellent aroma still hits you during tasting. Tangy plum, spice and heat Finish- spice and burn linger then slowly subside. A solid mid-tier rye that I would try again.
It has a toasted aroma. It carries a semi-strong, almost overly strong, peppery spice. The finish is warm. It's enjoyable if you're prepared for the spice.
Alcohol burn is prominent.
