My first tasting today, and I suspect my palate isn't quite right. It has a lighter red amber color with legs that appear very slowly, if at all. The glass simply seems to remain slick, with short runs forming at the top. The aroma is a pleasant, typical bourbon profile, with no single element standing out, merely confirming that it is indeed bourbon. The flavor is skillfully crafted, and again, nothing specific comes to mind beyond it being distinctly bourbon. The taste is long-lasting, with lingering spice notes and a good balance of oily and drying sensations due to the high proof.
