The label states, ‘The Legendary Stedman’s Select.’ That's amusing. This bourbon is priced at the bottom shelf level and comes in a 1.75 L glass bottle. (Credit for using glass.) I didn't anticipate exceptional flavors. It might be exclusively sold at Walmart. The aroma is unremarkable. Served neat, there was some sweetness and corn. A small addition of water revealed what seemed like licorice. The finish, regardless of water addition, is not very long but was pleasant. It's inexpensive and inoffensive, unlike Crown Royal, which is not inexpensive, just inoffensive. I'm hoping the resolution of the Evan Williams strike will lead to lower prices. If not, I could continue drinking this.
