The nose is strongly of orange, with other sweet notes and hints of almonds. The palate is dominated by clove and cinnamon, with some oak and barrel char. The finish is long and warm, with the high proof becoming apparent and lasting. A splash reveals no new flavors, just a return of the nutty notes from the nose. While it drinks below its stated proof, the orange from the nose is overwhelmed by spice on the palate. Overall score: 7.5/10.
