Nose - Cinnamon apple. Thick, dark caramel. A little tobacco and dust. As it aired out, I got a burst of fruit with lots of cherry, pear, and apple. Palate - Tastes like cinnamon apple pie with buttery crust. Lots of apple and sweet spice. The palate is amazing, hot like a typical stagg jr but very dessert-like. Lots of vanilla too. It's like apple pie with a scoop of vanilla ice cream. Finish - Plenty of barrel spice, barrel char, and cinnamon. A lingering sweetness remains.

Cherry, caramel, cinnamon, apple. My spouse put this in a blind tasting for me and I had no idea they got it. I ended up ranking it number 1 above my absolute favorite old Forester 1920, which placed 2nd. This is so much easier to drink than I would have thought. It's delicious.
The nose is smooth. The taste is very spicy with considerable heat, yet it's quite smooth. After the heat fades, a fruity and vanilla finish emerges. A slight burn lingers after drinking.
With two drops of water, it hits you in the mouth with leather and tobacco notes. It's very drying and has a long finish.
Flavors of cherry, cinnamon apple, and brown sugar emerge on the mid-palate alongside rye spice - quite enjoyable.
Cherry, caramel, cinnamon, apple. A very enjoyable bourbon!
