Color: Medium Amber Nose: A sweet aroma with notes of marzipan, oak, and fig. Palate: (Enjoyed with a large ice sphere) The 126 proof provides an immediate warm sensation that persists. The palate mirrors the nose closely, with significant spicy oak and marzipan. After a few sips, smokiness emerges, similar to a campfire. Cherry notes are also present, reminiscent of a "box of chocolates." This is a truly excellent bourbon. 4.5 stars.
