Springbank 21 Year (Single Cask)

An absolutely amazing experience. The underlying malt, subtle salinity, and gentle peat are so profound and intricate. It wasn't until the second pour that I detected any sherry influence. The masterful combination of oak, spirit, and sherry finishing truly elevates this dram. An out-of-body sensation.

Sherry cask goodness. Sampled at The Whisky Show London 2018. Could have been four or five stars, who remembers?
