Quite easy to drink. It certainly has fruit and floral notes. Not very strong for a rye with 35% mash. A short, malty finish. I don't regret buying it, but I might not purchase it again. Update: It tasted a bit better after revisiting the bottle a couple of weeks later.
The 35% rye hits the palate quickly but is mellowed by the sweet and creamy flavor of the malt. I highly recommend this.
Sweet and rich… a truly interesting bottle, honestly. Happy to sample some independent spirits not from MGP.
Selected at the NOLA bourbon festival. It exhibits many floral and stone fruit characteristics. A very mellow drink.
Earthy and vegetal. A warming, pleasant funk with a good bite.
