This single barrel rye, part of the Lost Lantern Fall 2021 single cask series, is a 5-year-old straight rye whiskey. It was aged in a 53-gallon new American oak cask and features a mash bill of 70% organic rye, 10% malted rye, and 20% malted barley. Bottled at 61% ABV, 195 bottles were available as of October 2021.

Tasting it neat in a Glencairn: The nose reveals licorice and leathery oak with bergamot. A little water added brings out more vanilla cream. The palate offers buttered bread and soft cinnamon with mint. The finish is brief and delightful, with notes of black tea and cinnamon.
