Possibly surpasses Jack Daniel's, but only slightly. Retains that characteristic sour mash flavor. Very mild and straightforward. Nothing offensive, yet not particularly engaging. However, if you desire a large, indulgent Old Fashioned without the intoxicating effects, this is suitable. 80 proof? Hmm, unsure. But sometimes a large, cold cocktail is wanted without feeling incapacitated. This fits that need.

A pleasant surprise, particularly given its low cost, $11.99 USD at Total Wine. It possesses a somewhat malty flavor. It is straightforward and simple, but at this cost, that is acceptable, and I would buy it again.
