Iva Mcclanahan 4.0

Not nearly as smoky as Laphroaig or Ardbeg, but sufficiently so to be identifiable as Islay. Campfire and salt on the nose; the palate is very smoky with a trace of sweetness. The finish is long and warm. Overall, this was exceptionally pleasing, prompting me to keep nosing the glass and sipping slowly. Much is happening here; it's definitely a dram that invites smelling, tasting, contemplating, and repeating.

Lynda Doyle 4.0

smoky and full of peat (as expected) and quite delicious
