Smooth Ambler Spirits uses a vodka base, made from 68% corn, 16% wheat, and 16% malted barley, which is then transformed into their signature gin through the addition of vapor-infused botanicals: juniper, coriander, cardamon, angelica root, orange peel, lemon peel, and black pepper. Subsequently, half of the gin is aged in new bourbon barrels, while the other half matures in used Old Scout bourbon barrels. After a 3-month aging period, the gins are combined and bottled at 49.5% ABV.

Fragrance has prominent juniper with hints of orange and a little lemon. Flavor of juniper with citrus notes and a touch of pepper. Sweet finish with juniper and pepper. Batch 19, bottled 5/15/15. Appreciate it, JT.
