Lenore Kirkland 3.3

(Good Spirits Co. Glasgow – Virtual Whisky Tasting, 12 August 2022). Nose: Sweet smoke, damp earthiness, black tea, salty/briny. Palate: Tobacco, dried fruit, peat smoke, sweet, nutty, salt, seaweed, dark chocolate. Finish: Medium-long finish. Heather, wood smoke, wood ash, nutty, slightly herbal. It coats the mouth. Smoky and a bit young. Soft and gentle for a peaty dram. Easy to drink – suitable for a session. This isn't a particularly intricate whisky; it's a young, peaty Islay, delivering what's expected – which is by no means a bad thing! My guess is this is likely a peated Bunnahabhain. It tied for last place among the six drams, receiving 0% of the final vote for the night's favorite. 54% of attendees indicated they enjoyed the whisky.

Aaron Sun 3.8

A smoky profile emerges with notes of baked plum and dark chocolate. The smoke carries a subtle woodiness. While not overly intricate, this flavor was quite pleasing.

Irving Leahy 3.8

Reminiscent of Kansas City BBQ with cooked plums. Very smooth, providing a warming sensation from the back of the throat.

Garret Kolb 3.5

Less complex and less peaty than octome, but still very good and smooth.

Danny Mata 4.0

Intense peat aroma. A prolonged finish. Will satisfy most enthusiasts of peaty spirits.

Corinne Nunes 4.8

It certainly possesses a distinct character
