Nose: A delightful initial aroma of citrus, possibly orange zest, mingled with the scent of cinnamon-dusted baked apples. An excellent beginning. Palate: Shifts from the citrus towards floral scents like spearmint, accompanied by baking spices and a touch of vanilla. A slight disappointment compared to the nose. Finish: Quite brief, yet it features a pleasant lingering peppery spice and a final warming sensation. Overall: Declined after the nose, but it's not bad, though not amazing either, and doesn't live up to the anticipation generated by the attractive bottle.

Nose: Predominantly caramel and vanilla. Hints of rye spice, pepper, and a touch of ethanol. A sweet and spicy aroma. Palate: Smooth caramel and oak lead the way. Rye spice then emerges with a hint of pepper. The sweetness effectively counterbalances the rye spice. Finish: The rye spice is prominent but quite delicious. Notes of vanilla and caramel mingle with oak and leather. Overall: Quite enjoyable. Very smooth and easy to drink. It's quite rye-forward, yet the spirit achieves a nice equilibrium between sweetness and spice.

I saw the buzz that this was a great deal, but I've tried many disappointments at this cost and squandered lots of time and cash. This one might not be perfect, but it's got some serious potential to impress. Pour it for companions and savor the compliments this bottle merits. It smells of sweet oak and gentle vanilla, which carry over to the taste and further contribute pleasant notes of mint and lemongrass.

Pleasant aroma of creamy vanilla oak, burnt sugars, and dandelion tea. It drinks well at 100 proof, offering nice oak backbone with hints of lemongrass and salted dark chocolate. A very solid pour, nearly earning 4 stars, but tonight it seemed to need a little something extra that I couldn't identify.

Glad I bought this. Tastes and smells like French toast. I have the uncut and the small batch versions. Comparing them side-by-side, I see likenesses. The uncut is not much hotter than the small batch. I really like them both.

This spirit drinks a bit hot for its stated proof. It also has a very noticeable young characteristic. I'm honestly a bit disappointed that I spent $60 on it. It's not bad overall, but I was expecting more quality for the price.
