An intense, herbal Brandy from Slovenia. The body is like Apple brandy, while the infused herbs include lovage, thyme, anise, fennel, catnip, pot marigold, rosemary & some that must remain secret. It starts with a bitter taste featuring mint, sage & a hint of honey; a minty middle adds more notes of apple & herbs, leading to a long & complex finish with sweet notes of fruit & anise. (I think they used grandma's secret stuffing recipe!) September 2018 / January 2019
