About this bottle
Silo is produced in small batches using corn and rye grown in Vermont. As it is aged in ex-bourbon barrels from Black Swan in Minnesota, rather than new oak, this product cannot officially be classified as bourbon. An interesting detail is that the distillery plays a mix of rock, jam band, and dance music for the whiskey during its aging process to agitate the barrels and enhance flavor extraction from the wood.
