Made in Tennessee but bottled in Napa, CA, likely a private label for a grocery store, probably sourced. Smells of fruit and charred oak. The taste is dominated by charred oak with a little fruitiness. It's smooth and pleasant to sip. Cost around $18 plus tax, Grade: B.
The aroma is reminiscent of paper and paint. It doesn't possess the flavors I favor, but it's not terrible. However, I would not recommend it.
Tasted neat. Purchased from Safeway in Maui. Vanilla, caramel, and spice notes. Good value for the price.
Sampling the store's own brand for amusement. Nutty on both the nose and palate.
