Though I don't typically favor Speyside spirits, I gave a 30-year-old bottle to a friend who enjoys them as a birthday gift, and we opened it together. The aroma had citrus notes (he detected orange, I noted lemon) and warm spices. The texture was creamy, with flavors of citrus (the orange was noticeable), baking spices, and sweet chocolate. It concluded with a long finish of dark, dried fruits.
