Sheelin Irish Cream

Visually identical to Bailey's, but the aroma is noticeably lighter and more floral compared to Bailey's malty, almost chocolatey scent. This aroma is unappealing. The texture is viscous, and the taste is sweet and creamy. Floral notes are evident, blending well with the vanilla for a pleasant, though uninspired, drink with a brief finish carrying some off-notes. Bailey's has a thicker texture and, despite a hint of grape soda in its aroma and taste, it's rich and enjoyable. This tastes much sweeter, giving an artificial impression, akin to vanilla soft serve not truly tasting like ice cream. It's also disappointing compared to Sheelin white chocolate, which is richer and boldly features grape, highlighting the mix of confection and liquor (including grape wine). This is far sweeter yet has less grape, tasting slightly off. On its own, it's acceptable, but comparatively, it falls short. However, it avoids the unpleasant earthy taste of Tolon Tolon. This actually has a subtle smokiness that complements its caramel, though the caramel sweetness still seems underdeveloped. Bailey's offers superior richness and moderated sweetness, making it a more successful liqueur. Bailey's finish has an artificial quality, and Sheelin's liqueurs have this issue to a lesser extent. This, however, persistently carries an artificial dairy flavor, limiting its quality. Some good flavors and complexity add to it, but the off-dairy taste significantly holds it back overall.
