Five Farms Irish Cream Liqueur

I've only tried a couple of Irish cream liqueurs, but this one is by far the best. I don't see a reason to choose Baileys when this is an alternative. The aroma features chocolate and grain. The palate is where this shines. It's silky and creamy, with notes of caramel, butterscotch, and spice. The finish is smooth, with no burn and more chocolate notes. I suspect there might be another Irish cream liqueur that's superior, but this has to be among the best. Skip the Baileys and opt for this instead; I'm sure you won't regret it.

Silky and rich, it makes excellent use of very fresh cream with high butterfat. Hints of vanilla, butterscotch, cocoa nibs, and caramel sweetness. The Irish whiskey and neutral grain spirits used are of acceptable quality, which is uncommon for most Irish cream liqueurs. The bottle's design is both charming and practical. In my view, this product is much better than Baileys (which relies on brand recognition over quality) and, at the same price, it's an obvious choice.

Very enjoyable! Leans heavily into butterscotch and a creamy, buttery profile, offering a somewhat unique take for a cream liqueur. It was excellent in coffee, and its rich, buttery consistency even made the coffee feel smoother. A great choice for a different Saturday morning treat! 😀

My only fear is never tasting Five Farms again. So delicious. So rich. And while not unpleasant, it's far from subtle. An outstanding Irish Cream that is a pure delight on its own, in coffee, or my preferred way, mixed 1:3 with Jameson over crushed ice.

The creamy butterscotch flavor is remarkable. It's too delightful for coffee; that's what McCleary is for. I must confess, I occasionally enhance it with a bit of Dead Rabbit or Tullamore Dew, but that's just due to my own drinking habits.

As a lifelong fan of Baileys, I must say this is an improvement. I'm not the best at describing spirits, but it's like all the good qualities of Baileys amplified.
