About this bottle
SG Shochu, a product of the SG Group founded by bar industry figure Shingo Gokan, has been introduced to the US market following its earlier launches in Japan (2020) and China (2021). This is one of three shochu varieties offered by the brand, each developed in partnership with a distinct shochu distillery located in Kyushu, Japan. The Kome (rice) shochu was subjected to a slow, low-temperature fermentation process at the Takahashi Shuzu Co. According to Japanese shochu regulations, only water can be added to the final product, meaning no sugar, coloring, or artificial flavors are present. (SRP $75)
