My initial impression of this was not favorable. I decided to try it again and I'm pleased I did. It is quite unique. A producer made this in partnership with a brewery. It is distilled from a double IPA of the same name. You can tell it's a rather young whiskey, but it has some interesting flavors. It's quite sweet initially and finishes with a strong hop presence, just as you would anticipate from a good double IPA. It's certainly worth sampling.

A strong floral scent, akin to roses. Hints of sweet acetone, but not unpleasantly so. Abundant hop character in the flavor, comparable to the aroma from a bag of hop pellets.
