Review #293. Whiskey Tour of the World 2025 #3. Glass: Glencairn, rested 15 minutes. Color: Medium amber. Nose: Smoky with some fruit and tobacco. Palate: Smoky with some black tea notes. Finish: Medium length with medium heat. Splash: No new flavors appear. Overall: 7.5/10 - New Zealand single malt is not a style that I would have gotten excited about prior to this. While this reminds me more of a smoky Japanese whiskey than Scotch, it’s got its own unique characteristics. That black tea note is very prominent.

A journey through global spirits, second release, number three. The liquid presents a pale gold-amber hue with sparse legs. Its scent is characterized by notes of soil, smoke, nuts, and herbs. The palate echoes the aroma with spice, fruit, smoke, apple, earth, and nuttiness. It has a moderately light body and a gentle warmth. 8/4/8/4/17 4.1

Whiskey Tour of the World 2nd Edition #3. An intensely smoky nose. The palate is smoky and oaky with a mild sweetness that's hard to identify. The finish is mellow, with traces of molasses.

Javon Chadwick 2.8

A smoky, earthy flavor with a slightly sweet smoky taste that I can't quite identify.

Madyson Sutton 2.0

Acceptable. Sweet scent but unremarkable.
