On the nose, it's reserved, with notes of purple and red candy and dusted grains. Sweetness dominates initially, followed by a drying sensation of red grape skin. Hints of pie dough, rye spice, and almond butter emerge.
The nose is quite spicy. Caramel and light spice notes lead to a medium finish. Enjoyable.
Not particularly impressive; it has a spicy cinnamon finish, but the palate lacks depth.
