This triple-aged solera rum from Venezuela spent an additional 9 months in an American oak cask previously containing a rum-cacao cold brew made from cacao beans from Chuao, Venezuela, before being bottled at 43% ABV. It has an aromatic beginning with notes of sugarcane, wood, tropical & dried fruits, nuts, herbs & spices; while a rich & spicy progression adds notes of candied oranges, cocoa & brown sugar; leading to a warm & complex conclusion of medium length with a hint of oak, dark chocolate & orange zest.
