This bold, blended Venezuelan Rum was aged for 8 to 15 years in American white oak barrels (previously used for Bourbon). A bit of vanilla and cocoa distillate was added before bottling at 40% ABV. It starts with an aromatic bouquet of sugarcane, wood, nuts, herbs, and spices. A rich middle palate introduces caramel notes, leading to a long and robust finish with hints of charred oak, vanilla, dark chocolate, and tobacco.
