Isla Epstein 3.5

Overall: I prefer the standard, less expensive Amarac finish ("the Herald" edition). Tasting Methodology: Neat in a Canadian Glencarin glass. Allowed to rest for 10 minutes. Nose: tobacco, dry wood. Palate Texture: neutral. Palate: tannic, white wood, with an undertone of dark honey and brandy. Finish: dry and astringent. Rating: 8/10 - I favor the regular, more affordable Amarac finish. Price Paid: $73. Value Rating: 7/10. Would I purchase again? No, better value can be found elsewhere.
