Sagamore Spirit Rum Cask Finish

NOSE Rum-like brown sugar, dill notes from rye, oak, dried fruit, Manuka honey, toasted bread, jammy apricot and baking spice Wow that rum really stands out here… and complements the rye. PALATE Rum, brown sugar spiciness, dried fruit, honey, oak, dill spice from rye, toasted bread, orange peels. and hints of black tea. Bold and substantial with the rum covering a well-aged MGP. FINISH Medium-long -> Rye spice, oak, brown sugar fades to vanilla taffy and Earl Grey tea.

Nose: An intense wave of brown sugar and exotic fruits. Overwhelmingly sweet. The rum character is very prominent, with a subtle touch of rye spice. I'm genuinely enjoying this aroma and truly wish the palate delivers similarly. Palate: Absolutely. It met my expectations. That rich brown sugar, butterscotch, and spiced rum sweetness harmonizes with the rye and tropical citrus. This is a superb whiskey for a summer evening.

Smooth. Delicious rum taste. Pretty banana-forward. Awesome rye finish. Really enjoying this.
