Container: Glencairn, sat for 15 minutes. Hue: Medium amber. Smell: Abundant fruit - apples, pears, grapes, and apricots. Taste: Clove and baking spices with a dense texture. Aftertaste: Extended duration with moderate warmth. Still dense and fruity. Addition: A few drops of water balance the fruit and spice well. Summary: 9.5/10 - This is a distillery-only release we couldn't try first. I hesitated due to the cost, but I'm happy I experienced this. This is truly a top-tier finished rye I've encountered, and the cost is comparable to Starlight's finished ryes.
