A perk of working remotely is a mid-afternoon drink. Enjoying a bit of gin in casual attire while still getting work done puts me in a much better mood. So, I opened one of my samples – the kind that's intriguing enough to try but not worth buying a whole bottle. Okay, I love celery. In fact, I used to be a celery-only diet enthusiast in a past life. Okay, maybe not. Anyway, this is an interesting spirit. It has the usual dry juniper and coriander taste, but with a subtle celery note upfront. Emphasis on 'subtle.' Not enough. If I tasted this blind, I wouldn't have identified celery. Therefore, it's not distinct enough to set it apart from other dry gins. Interesting, but not remarkable.

I really like this! I had hoped for more celery notes, but it's incredibly well-balanced. There's definitely more going on than just celery!
A gin that's dry with a clear celery taste.
