This entry in the Russian Standard Vodka line is produced from 100% Russian winter wheat, consistent with their other vodkas. However, this expression is infused with Siberian golden root, also known as ginseng. It is bottled at a 40% alcohol by volume.

This is my favorite of the bunch so far, with Standard close behind. It has a cleaner, crisper flavor profile without relying too much on wheat characteristics. The golden root adds a spicy, earthy note like ginger, white pepper, and damp wood, balanced by a subtle sweetness. It's delicious served straight, especially when chilled.
A welcome addition to the range. Served chilled, it has a fresher character and a pleasant slight kick from the ginseng. This is a good vodka at a reasonable price, so forget the designer brands.
You can't go wrong with Russian vodka. This one is crisp, clean, smooth, and light with a subtle spearmint note. My second favorite vodka after Stolichnaya.
Fantastic vodka regardless of the price. For what it costs, it's incredible. Too bad its country of origin has poor relations with its neighbors.
