Wine.com Selection. Color: 1.2 chestnut. Nose: Distinctive, with dark, sherried cherry, toasted oak, wet wood, and baked apple. Taste: I've never really experienced Wild Turkey quite like this. It's very sweet and fruity, yet its inherent Wild Turkey characteristics provide a delicious foundation. It tastes like cherry cola, brown sugar, and vanilla, reminiscent of a root beer float made with bourbon, perfectly executed. Caramel rounds it out. The depth of flavor here is something I truly appreciate, significantly more so than other recent WT single barrel offerings. Finish: Long and sweet, continuing from the taste, but with sufficient rye spice for balance. Overall: This was a genuine delight, presenting an unexpected combination of flavors. Sadly, I only have an ounce left to sample, so the CN-B is now a high priority on my wishlist.
