About this bottle
Royal Salute The Coronation of King Charles III Edition is a blended Scotch whisky created to commemorate the coronation of King Charles III. Royal Salute Master Blender Sandy Hyslop developed the blend using 53 distinct malt and grain whiskies. The inaugural Royal Salute bottling was originally created in 1953 as a tribute to Queen Elizabeth II's coronation. This release is presented in a Dartington crystal decanter with a deep sapphire hue and is housed in a wooden box designed to evoke Westminster Abbey, the traditional site for British coronations since 1066. Worldwide availability is limited to 500 bottles, with 56 designated for the US. Pre-orders began in mid-April 2023 via ReserveBar, with availability at select retailers commencing the first week of May 2023, at an SRP of $25,000.
