About this bottle
This special bottling was released to mark the wedding of HRH Prince Harry and Ms. Meghan Markle. Master blender Sandy Hyslop created this Royal Salute by combining some of the brand's oldest and rarest casks, including whiskies aged 55, 36, and 33 years. Whiskies from the Longmore, Strathisla, Glen Keith, and Strathclyde distilleries were chosen for their maturation entirely in 100% American oak, signifying a tribute to the bride's American heritage. The Dartington-crafted decanter features roses, thistles, barley, daffodils, and California poppies, and is presented in an American oak box. Bottled at 54.5% ABV, there were 70 decanters produced, each individually hand-engraved and numbered. The first bottle was designated for Kensington Palace, the couple's official residence.
