About this bottle
Diageo's Prima & Ultima Collection showcases scarce single malts from its brands, representing either the first or last of their kind. The third release in this series was assembled by Master Blender Dr. Craig Wilson. This 1981-distilled whisky originated from a small experimental batch designed to assess the angels' share. After initial aging in refill casks, it was moved to refill American oak hogsheads. It is bottled at its natural cask strength, without chill filtration or added color. Production was limited to 1047 bottles. This particular Royal Lochnagar bottling is one of four from the series designated for US availability starting in June 2022.
