Nose: It has a sugary aroma, possibly reminiscent of a sweet tea and vodka concoction. Regardless, it brings to mind thoughts of diabetes. Palate: An overwhelming amount of butterscotch is present. The texture is a bit light, but hints of oak and some spice are detectable. Finish: The finish is lengthy, spicy, and sweet. Overall: Without question, this is the finest rum I've experienced neat. I must admit I'm not typically a rum enthusiast, yet this is quite palatable. I'm awarding it a 4 because it's the top rum I've tried, though I don't find it absolutely amazing.

Delightfully surprised and impressed by this emerging brand! It has a rich body for a 10-year-old yet remains light on the palate. The nose has vanilla and tropical fruits. The body is spicy with notes of leather, tobacco, and banana. The finish has caramel, citrus, and oakiness.

Absolutely wonderful. I would strongly suggest this rum for those special occasions requiring a great celebratory drink. I purchased a case as Christmas gifts, and everyone was delighted. It is well worth the cost.

Marissa Magana 4.3

Wonderful and rich. Caramel, brown sugar, burnt sugar reminiscent of creme brulee. These are the dessert-like notes, but it also has fantastic spice and depth. The finish is pleasing and lingers. Highly recommended if you enjoy sipping rums as much as I do!

Mckenzie Engel 3.8

Aroma of vanilla extract and hard caramel. Thick, coating mouthfeel. Notes of dark fruit syrup, maple syrup, and bitter caramel. Hints of rum. Dry finish with a syrupy residue. Delivers a lot considering its age and alcohol content. Not Caribbean nor rum, but echoes both styles.

It reminds me of grandma's little Butterworth candies and waffles, but with a boozy finish! Fantastic..
