A scarce bottle of Ron Arecha Extra by Jose Arechabala, made in Cardenas, Cuba in the 1960s. Jose Arechabala is the originator of Havana Club! It presents a Rhum Agricole profile initially, with notes of grass, white pepper, floral hints, and a slightly soapy quality. The palate is rich and herbal, with notes of sugarcane and grass. The finish is long and bittersweet, with hints of buttercup and cough syrup. January / March 2018
