This is the second cask strength bottling from Diageo's Roe & Co. Irish Whiskey brand. The 2020 release is a single malt, a first for the brand, having been exclusively aged for 13 years in port casks. It is presented at 58% ABV.

A store employee in Magherafelt, Northern Ireland, recommended this. I was seeking an Irish single malt I hadn't encountered at home, and it's adequate, not outstanding. The potent nose has strong floral and honey notes, but it's not as sharp as the aroma might imply. It's somewhat sharp with a warm, lingering finish.
Quite harsh. Lingering rye aftertaste.
