A hidden treasure from the past. The aroma is a pleasant rye-forward spicy profile with a hint of fruity sweetness. The taste is sweet and slightly coppery, moving with an elegance and smoothness that is captivating but not dull. The finish gradually fades with a touch of oak and a sweet conclusion.
Very smooth with caramel notes. I hadn't gotten around to using this app yet, so I didn't record notes, but I enjoyed it so much that it inspired me to find this app and start logging the spirits/bourbons I try. I had this served on ice at HipStirs Blended Culture on S. Lamar, Austin, TX.
Not very enjoyable.
