The nose offers oak, vanilla, and stone fruit, with a hint of barnyard hay. The palate is tannic, bringing to mind Woodford Double Oaked, with syrupy cherry cola, orange, vanilla, leather, black pepper, and cinnamon. It reminds me of a Manhattan. It's not subtle, but the punchy flavors are hard to fault.
