As a supporter of Richard Petty, I acquired this VA ABC Closeout primarily for the container, not the contents. I opened it with low expectations and was not disappointed. It pours quite light. The aroma includes notes of corn and paint thinner. The mouthfeel is thin and astringent. After all, this is a 2-year-old blend, bottled as an "80th birthday tribute" to NASCAR's King. I will just state that I am pleased I purchased it at half price, but it still doesn't represent a true bargain. While I prefer my spirits neat, this will likely end up in a mixed drink.
