This Rhum Agricole from Martinique, produced in September 1999 and bottled at 42.6% ABV in May 2015, presents an aromatic beginning with notes of sugarcane, ripe fruits, and aged oak. Its complex development adds hints of vanilla and caramel, leading to a long conclusion featuring oak, licorice, almonds, and tobacco. This tasting occurred in June 2017, with subsequent notes from April and August 2018.
